Lý thuyết cần nắm vững
– Hiện tại đơn (Present Simple) được sử dụng để diễn đạt một hành động mang tính thường xuyên (regular action), theo thói quen (habitual action) hoặc hành động lặp đi lặp lại có tính quy luật.
Trong câu của thì hiện tại đơn thường xuất hiện các phó từ chỉ thời gian như today, present day, nowadays,… hoặc các phó từ chỉ tần suất như: always, sometimes, often, every + thời gian …

– Quá khứ đơn (Past Simple) dùng để diễn đạt một hành động đã xảy ra dứt điểm tại một thời gian xác định trong quá khứ (không còn diễn ra hoặc ảnh hưởng tới hiện tại).
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: trong câu thường xuất hiện các từ: yesterday, at that moment, last week/ month/ year…
